Acknowledgements and Afterword

In the compilation of this report, we first give glory to our Father in heaven. He has given us courage we have never had before, emboldening us to complete this report. Without His preservation, we could not have accomplished this arduous task.

Secondly, we extend our deepest respect and gratitude to those pastors, coworkers, and their families who are imprisoned for the Lord. The faith, patience, and joy you have demonstrated in tribulation surround us like a cloud of witnesses and encourage our hearts. Your suffering is not in vain, but has become a blessing and inspiration to the Chinese church and even the universal church.

We thank those who are willing to give their precious time to pray for the persecuted house church community in China. Your intercession, whether in the light or in secret, upholds the battle on the front lines; may your tears and cries be heard and remembered by God.

We thank organizations and individuals in the international community and the universal church for their efforts. Thank you for your warm-hearted concern, appeals, and aid, letting the suffering members know they are not forgotten in the world, and allowing us to be tangibly connected as one body in Christ.

We also thank every coworker who participated in the data collection for this report. In this time of information blockade and tightening environment, you risked danger and silently offered yourselves, only to faithfully record history and speak up for the persecuted. We also extend our thanks to the coworkers of the 5pminchina Telegram channel and the chinaaid.net website, who provided valuable and rich source support for the compilation of this report.

Finally, limited by the secrecy of many house churches and the information blockade, the data and event records in this report are not exhaustive. Please pray with us that every name and every tear will be recorded in the eternal book.
